Weekly Update - July 5th, 2006

Our next home swim meet against Monticello is just around the corner (Monday Night – July 10th) and we have 139 swimmers scheduled to swim! A couple of reminders about the meet –

1) Meet warm ups start promptly at 5pm with the meet beginning at 5:30pm. The coaches are asking that swimmers arrive by 4:30pm to pick up cards and check the relay boards.

2) NEED new goggles, a FUN swim t-shirt, or a CRAZY swim cap? Bring your checkbook or cash to this meet because we will be selling Swim Apparel again. A big thank you to Sheri Smith for heading up this fundraising effort.

3) PARENT RELAYS – do you want to cool off from the hot sun during half time of the meet? If so, wear your suit to the meet and you can participate in our FUN parent relay. We will be challenging the Monticello parents and would LOVE to field multiple relays from LSL.

4) StLDigital – Paul from stldigital will have a tent set up at this meet. You will have an opportunity to view “action” shots that he has taken of your swimmers and request additional photos.

5) MEET SET UP – a group of parents/swimmers will arrive at the CA on Monday afternoon around 3:30pm to set up the meet… anyone that wants to help is welcome!

6) Reminders – park in the back lot, our guest have the beach side of the pool deck for “meet watching”, and be sure to pick up your area at the end of the night to leave our pool area looking great!
